More specifically, fighting and how characters can enjoy the intensity of a fun, friendly match! It can be an isolated one-on-one, amongst friends, in a tournament setting, whatever! Get creative! The contest will be involving and featuring my scrappy main character, Rosie the Echidna.(Eclipse won't let me change the size of the pictures. OverviewThis theme for this, as per the title, will be martial arts. "I wish I could just go back in time and relive some of those great fights!" As Rosie continues to read her journal, like her own personal storybook, the memories come flooding back into her head. I can't believe I've made this many training buddies up until now." Rosie thinks out loud with a heart full of positive vibes. Soon, she flips back more and more pages, a warm smile forming on her yellow muzzle while she re-reads her past experiences, some of which caught her attention more than others. The pencil hovers over a blank page before Rosie moves it away and begins to turn back a few pages, scanning over the contents of what she already wrote. She opens the journal and pulls out a pencil from her bag to record her thoughts.but then she hesitates. As she traveled, the pages had been filled to the brim with heartwarming tales of Rosie's encounters so she'd never forgotten what she went through. This time, she pulled out a navy blue journey with the kanji 戦士 の ジャーナル, which translated to 'Warrior Journal.' Whenever Rosie experience a fruitful training experience or a very memorable fight with another warrior, she made sure to take note of such a past event in this book. Soon, Rosie finished munching on her meat skewer and puts the remaining stick aside to dig back into her bag. The very reason she embarked on her journey, after all, was to find new opponents to test her skills against and form lasting bonds from the fun fights they share. Being a girl molded by the pleasures of martial arts, Rosie found herself thinking back to the past encounters she had with many different fighters she met while on the road. Having the peace and silence of the area to herself gave her plenty of time to meditate on her thoughts of the day and her experiences throughout her journey. She had rummaged through her food reserves in her blue duffel bag and was enjoying a thick slab of meat on a stray branch, cooked from the fire. Having completely another active day of training, Roselia Shaolin was all set to cool down for the night. That didn't bother one traveler, however, who had already set up a cozy pit fire in the middle of the plain. The sun had completely departed from the sky, leaving the bright glow of the full moon and scattered stars to substitute with any amount of light they were willing to spare. Well, now I finally see my chance! Hopefully, this can be a little something to cheer everyone up after the mandatory swap to Eclipse! ^w^ To try and create some context of the origins behind this contest, I'm going to provide a little story! Cause why not? Story/Background The night's dark canvas was painted over the wide stretches of land, in the middle of a peaceful grassland. A while, one of the things I always wanted to do was host an art contest on DeviantArt, to encourage a bunch of awesome drawings under a common theme.
